Batanes is more than a destination, it is an experience. After years of dreaming about visiting the northernmost province of the Philippines, I finally stood on its rolling hills, dramatic cliffs, and wind-swept landscapes. Known as the ‘Home of the Winds,’ Batanes remains one of the most sought-after destinations in the country because of its untouched beauty, rich Ivatan culture, and breathtaking scenery.
This trip was especially meaningful because it completed my journey across all 82 Philippine provinces. From Clark to Basco, every moment felt like stepping into a postcard.
